The Left understood that stripping the United States of the symbols of its past was in important step in making the country turn to noxious ideas like critical race theory and diversity, equity, and inclusion. The message was always, “accept these programs or you are racist, just like your awful ancestors.”

The bishop had no right to abuse her position in the church and hijack a prayer service with a political message. By mentioning only working-class illegal migrants, she is attempting to imply that this is about class and that Trump is persecuting the less fortunate.

He briefly reacted to the woke Episcopal priestess who delivered remarks at the National Prayer Service, using the opportunity to assert that many LGBTQ people — including children — “fear for their lives.” Trump told reporters that it was “not too exciting.”

Trump’s speech was focused and serious. He stuck to the script, reciting all of the wrongs of the Biden years that he was going to put right. Many people were commenting on the fact that Joe Biden had to sit there and take it. Honestly, Biden looked like he dozed off more than once.

McKinley’s presidency hinged on his campaign theme during the 1896 election. He promised voters a “full dinner pail.” He delivered. He erected tariffs that protected domestic markets. He signed into law the gold standard, to the distress of William Jennings Bryan, who was a “free silver” champ. Gold proved a boon to finance and the economy.
