The organization somehow managed to get Democrats to give it $25 million worth of funding in the coronavirus stimulus bill. And then, on the same day it got its windfall, the Center informed the performers in the National Symphony Orchestra that they will no longer be getting paid.

It’s not enough that Americans have to deal with fake news as they sort out the latest in politics coming over social media. Now there is the issue of fake noise as well. The Center for Popular Democracy Action recently slapped the Democratic presidential campaign of Pete Buttigieg for adding volumes of applause into a clip of Buttigieg speaking at a CNN town hall.
