Woke Tide May Be Turning

By Hugo Gurdon: Instead of the harmless cloud of feel-good fluff that the anodyne DEI name seemed to promise, corporations and universities found they’d imported an ideological tyranny. Now, a few institutions are trickling toward the practical policy of avoiding politics and getting on with the jobs for which they exist. The trickle will, one hopes, become a flood.

The Anti-Americanism of Globalized Universities

U.S. universities used to admit students from overseas so they could learn about American values and the virtues of our political system and bring that knowledge back to their home countries. We were exporting democracy and freedom, one student at a time. It’s the other way around now.

Biden’s Pier to Nowhere

Utopian intentions. Naive assumptions. Petty political point scoring. Inept planning. Disastrous outcomes. Those are the hallmarks of every foreign policy decision President Joe Biden has made since taking office, and they are all on full display with the absurd failure of his pier for the landing of aid to Gaza.

DeSantis Still Has Some of the Worst Critics in Politics

He is no longer in the presidential race, but he still has liberal media targeting him while Florida prospers. DeSantis earned the ire of a television meteorologist for signing a law that pushes the state to further evaluate the benefits of nuclear energy, prohibits offshore wind expansion and certain wind turbines, and loosened some regulations on natural gas.

The Loony Language of the Left

Trump does not have, as he famously said during his first presidential campaign, “the best words.” To the contrary, the liberal elite has developed a lexicon far vaster, more confusing, and more insidious than any conservative could muster today.

Biden Lets Public Health Go Up in Smoke

Leftists demand that others “follow the science,” but when science and the facts reinforce arguments against their politics, they ignore it. That’s what President Joe Biden is doing with marijuana. He is dangerously sacrificing the facts on the ideological altar of pot pandering.

Defund NPR

Washington Examiner

There is one small measure Republicans can take that would at least signal to their voters they are interested in fighting back against the Left: defunding NPR. There is simply no excuse for sending taxpayer dollars to journalists obsessed with demonizing conservatives.
