It was the day “abandon Americans in need” became part of the Build Back Better platform.

More proof emerged last week that the establishment media lied earlier this year in “reporting” that Georgia was making it harder for minorities to vote.  Some day, Georgia will get its good reputation back, but it will never get back the money it lost when Major League Baseball moved its All-Star Game from majority-black Atlanta to overwhelmingly white Denver.

It is long past time for American politicians to adopt the Asian cultural model of resignations, as a matter of honor, for gross failures or derelictions. A “culture of shame ” would do much to restore faith in our institutions by reasserting a sense of personal responsibility to a political culture most see as being more about personal aggrandizement. In Biden’s case, there is more than enough to be ashamed of.
