Tucker Should Not Run for President

Washington Examiner

Carlson has no chance of winning the Republican presidential nomination if he did run. He is a talk show host and journalist and was immensely popular, but he wasn’t so popular that he could turn it into a successful presidential campaign. Plus, if we look strictly at numbers, Carlson’s show wasn’t even the most popular on Fox. That honor belonged to The Five.

Trump Is a Loser

Washington Examiner

The sooner Republican voters accept this, the better their chances of kicking Democrats out of the Oval Office in the 2024 election. Otherwise, the extremely liberal Democrats will keep running the country, all because Republican voters chose to stamp their feet and insist on nominating Trump, rather than somebody who can actually win.

The False Myth of Transgender Oppression

Washington Examiner

We have worked mightily to accommodate transgender people to an extent far in excess of their presence in the population — five persons in a thousand, or 1.65 million people in a nation of 330 million. This is five one-thousandths of 1% of the population. Yet transgenderism is now the tail that wags the dog of the entire Democratic Party.

MAGA Sacrilege Makes a Mockery of Faith

Washington Examiner

Idolatry has run amok in the MAGA movement, and it demands a resounding repudiation from church leaders. According to Marjorie Taylor Greene, who professes to be a “God-fearing Christian” and “Christian nationalist,” Trump’s arrest vaults him into the ranks of “the most incredible people in history,” which includes none other than the Son of God.

Trump and D.A. Bragg Are What We Deserve

Washington Examiner

America would be in much better shape if we did not have a president whose candidacy precipitated hush money or catch-and-kill payments. That’s the story of the death of conservative outrage. And it seems that Bragg’s case rests on the premise that Trump’s hush money payments are, by definition, campaign related. That’s absurd.

A Bad Day for Trump and the Rule of Law

Washington Examiner

The indictment points again to his sleazy character, which has already besmirched the top office in the nation and should be allowed to do so no more. It reflects poorly on our culture that it is necessary to debate this — to haggle over whether such a vulgarian, who has been caught repeatedly (at least figuratively) with his pants down, should be the nation’s chief executive.

Why Patriotism and Hope in America Are Collapsing

Washington Examiner

Who at political demonstrations chants and holds up signs that reads, “America was never great”? Left-wingers. Who teaches a venomous history of this country, insisting that the raison d’etre of America was slavery? The Left. Who sows division in schools by teaching children that if they are white, they are irredeemable racists, and if they are black, they are victims without agency in their own future? The Left.

Are Athletes Finally Starting to Protest Radical Left-Wing Cultural Politics?

Washington Examiner

After years of athletes kneeling, professional leagues relocating all-star games, and female national soccer teams whining about equity, the pendulum might be starting to swing the other way. Recently, some athletes have taken a stand against these “woke” dogmas and begun to fight back against radical left-wing cultural politics. It’s been a joy to see.
