Kavanaugh’s lawyers were going to headline a Democratic fundraiser. They backed out, but one of Ford’s lawyers, Debra Katz, is anti-Trump, which adds to the hyper-charged political atmosphere with this whole episode.

Kurt Schlichter: The menus of those precious gastropubs that spring up in the gentrified blue coastal urban centers are loaded with “specialty burgers” with cutesy names and inane combinations of ingredients. It’s sad. Unable to create anything of value, these goateed hipster monsters can only pervert and deform that which is pure and beautiful.

John Stossel: Allowing prices to rise, even sharply, is the best way to help desperate people get supplies they need. As supplies rush in, prices quickly return to normal. We shouldn’t call it gouging. It’s just supply and demand. The best thing “price police” can do in a disaster is stay out of the way.

This is another example of the moral chaos sown by secularism and the left. In any society rooted in Judeo-Christian values, it is understood that people should be morally assessed based on how they behave over the course of their lifetime — early behavior being the least important period in making such an assessment.

The sliming of Brett Kavanaugh by a Bernie donor is disgusting and disgraceful, and if Democrats had any shred of decency they would hang their heads in shame and spend the next two months ahead of the midterms doing penance to atone for their scummy act of cheap political theater.

 Despite what liberal pundits on TV might try and spin you, President Trump’s economic policies have paved the way for lower unemployment, a return of quality American jobs from overseas, and a confident American consumer with strong purchasing power.
