It appears that in 2018, because of the Trump tax cuts and deregulation, the U.S. economy will have its first year of 3 percent growth in over a decade. Black unemployment, 5.9 percent, and white unemployment, 3.4 percent, are at historic lows. And the gap between black and white unemployment has dramatically shrunk, showing that blacks are, in an unprecedented way, participating in the economic recovery.

Journalists in media were so blinded by their hatred of Trump that they could not see the constant negativity was backfiring. People dropped their subscriptions to biased newspapers and cable TV. People turned to news from bloggers, Facebook friends and conservative outlets in order to avoid the bias of traditional news sources.

What Trump implied is that he had given them a raise of roughly 10%. At 2.4% per year times 4 years he will have overseen a raise of 9.6% for the troops in his first term. Comparatively over Obama’s last 4 years that administration served up a whopping 1.25% pay raise per year equalling roughly half of Trump’s raise over an equally comparable period of time.

Kurt Schlichter: Liberalism was always a lie and a scam, right from its sordid beginnings among the progressives with their creepy messianic fervor, their infatuation with “expertise” (and hence, their embrace of evils like eugenics), and their contempt for the Constitution. Liberals consider themselves the anointed, divinely entitled to rule over us lesser folk, and they aren’t going to let anything get in the way of retaking the throne.

Maybe reporters and anchors considered their largely favorable and complimentary coverage of the man in death as penance for their earlier sins during his life, but they still should be held accountable for what they said about him when it mattered.

Barr is likely to drive Democrats nuts given that he’s passed Senate confirmation proceedings more than once, including for the SAME JOB to which he is being submitted. In other words, absent some fraternity girl-turned-Democratic operative suddenly “remembering” that time Barr fondled her at a 1968 dorm party, any opposition is likely to be based on politics alone.

By now, this rhetoric is familiar. You can go back to 1970, when Harvard biologist George Wald, riding a wave of popular environmental panic during the decade, estimated, “Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind.”

Michelle Malkin: This week’s partisan corpse abusers callously exploited the passing of George H.W. Bush, America’s 41st president, to get in their digs at the current commander in chief. Their vulgar level of incivility was inversely propositional to their sanctimonious calls for decency.

Kurt Schlichter: Trump was a warning. Know that what comes next is worse, if you consider Trump terrible. The elite hopes it can stamp out this infernal uppitiness by directing petty oppressions at those who won’t toe the leftist line, but that won’t suppress the resentment the elite has created.

Kurt Schlichter: The Democrat Party is giving up on reproduction – it doesn’t help that they seem to be suspicious that anyone who actually carries a baby to term is sufficiently liberal. That’s why they want to import caravans of foreigners, to replace their dwindling voter base.

If Trump set out to hurt blacks by pushing economic policies that helped reduce black unemployment to an all-time low; by attempting to stop unskilled illegal alien workers from competing with unskilled blacks for jobs; and by empowering inner-city black parents…to pick the school for their children, then Trump needs to go back to racism school.

Reason #1: CNN claims its network is “significantly hampered,” causing harm to Americans who “rely on CNN as an essential news source.” As a network, CNN is not impaired. It still has more than 10 credentialed White House reporters and producers.

Kurt Schlichter: At least Mayor Daley and the rest of the Chicago corruptocrats had the common decency to do their vote-thieving behind the doors of the local mortuaries. Today, in Florida and elsewhere, the Democrats are doing it right in front of our faces. In fact, they’re rubbing it in our faces.

Kurt Schlichter: Well, I guess there wasn’t a blue wave or a red wave; instead, there was just kind of a puke green splash. The Democrats took the House, by a pretty small margin, beginning at least two years of a divided Congress. And they’ll almost certainly screw it up because they are dumb, crazy, and bad.
