Michael Malarkey: As someone who has heard his last name used in Joe Biden’s favorite debate quip since 2012, it’s finally time to flip the script on the Democratic frontrunner. The former VP’s last few weeks have been filled with gaffes and at times downright incoherent rambling (“Joe-3-0…3-3-0”). His doddering behavior has included such statements as “We choose truth over facts” and “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

Kurt Schlichter: Trump is a lot of things, but stupid is not one of them. He is understandably horrified by the murder sprees of that progressive environmental eugenics weirdo and that member of Big Chief Warren’s tribe. But Trump is also keenly aware that any betrayal of his supporters on a literally life or death issue like guns…will result in his wholesale abandonment by his supporters.

Most Democrats blamed President Trump for this weekend’s mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, Ohio, but Sen. Elizabeth Warren added another potential culprit: Fox New. She perhaps forget how CNN gave a platform to actual white nationalist Richard Spencer…

Treat all mass shooters, regardless of the reason, as domestic terrorists. Then, treat all domestic terrorists like ISIS terrorists, revoke their citizenship, and ship their asses to Guantanamo Bay. And when they get there, no book reading or sitting around. Despite featuring drug use, alcoholism, promiscuity, anti-capitalism, anti-Americanism, and anti-police rhetoric, the newly released Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood is without doubt the most conservative movie of 2019. In fact it is because of all these plot elements that the film is clearly an attack on the 60s counterculture and the values that emerged out of it.

You have some Democrat politician who represented his district for nearly four decades and if you point out that it’s a mess, the problem is the guy who says so out loud.

Matt Vespa: Williamson’s way out there, but she also had the better moments of tonight’s debate, clinching some of the biggest applause lines, spikes in Google searches, and appeared to have what the others don’t: something new to offer…Her brand of politics shouldn’t be dismissed. She’s also feisty. And seemed to inject some energy into that CNN audience.

Franken was kicked out of the party when Democrats were trying to build a case against Trump. Now that they’ve concluded that case won’t work, they want Franken back again. Presumably, they’ll soon be back to praising Clinton, too.

The latest to say they’re taking on AOC is Scherie Murray, a Republican immigrant from Jamaica who’s active in state politics.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) rolled out a plan to offer grants up to $25,000 to low-income black individuals to help with a down payment and closing costs on home purchases….That grant pushes the buyer into a more expensive mortgage, as well, costing $485 extra per month, plus additional property taxes on the higher value, plus additional cost to insure the home.
