Joe Biden is probably not in conflict with Harris. But it’s likely it’s someone from the inner-inner circle, like Dr. Jill Biden. She could be making a play, not unlike Hillary Clinton. Dr. Jill is younger, sharper, and very energetic in this administration, and it’s not impossible to see the chance of becoming the first female President blind someone with ambition.

The most important take-away is that Democrat voters rallied behind pro-police candidate Eric Adams rather than a “social justice warrior” endorsed by AOC and her socialist allies in Congress. Pro-police retired police captains are in short supply when it comes to Democrat Party candidates.  The Democrats may need to get busy looking for more of them because the AOC model may have gone out of style.

Jennifer Oliver O’Connell: I love the Juneteenth story, because it is a part of the history of my people. But did I need a federal holiday to recognize this? Meh. While I do not mock its passage as some conservatives are doing, my ability to embrace the evocative power of celebrating wrongs made right, and honoring my ancestors doesn’t require federal acknowledgement.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo threw his hat just outside the 2024 presidential ring on Tuesday with an announcement that is launching the “Champion American Values” PAC (CAVPAC), which he said through a press release will not only focus on “building a team to crush Democrats” but will also “ride to the sound of guns.”

Yesterday, he was 2.5 hours late for a NATO press conference, offering no explanation for his extreme tardiness. After finally showing up, Biden then started to call on reporters from a pre-selected list prepared by his handlers. That’s when his brain locked up harder than an engine starved of oil.

If we had a president capable of doing his job, Germany would be getting pressed on why they are building a pipeline to Russia, handing German energy independence to a country that the U.S. taxpayers are paying to defend them from. Instead, we got more rantings about nebulous climate change…

The late, deeply lamented Andrew Breitbart famously said that politics is downstream from culture, which should serve as a warning to conservatives ever-increasingly isolating themselves from culture and society as the two lurch ever leftward, thus leaving no resistance to this lurch. The mistake was ever offering her tenure in the first place. Tenured professorships are usually given to people with fairly specific qualifications. One, they typically have an academic background. Jones does not have that. Two, they almost always have a doctorate. Jones does not have one of those.

Garland doubled down on the stupidity at Joe Biden’s gun control presser. At one point, he claimed that AR-15 pistols with stabilizing braces are concealable. Yeah, no. That’s not how any of this works. An AR pistol is not in any way concealable.

Biden’s handling of vaccine distribution has been a failure insofar as the programs he has attempted to champion. Meanwhile, the systems that predated him have been a success. Not even five minutes after the announcement of a mass shooting in Boulder, social media erupted into the blame game.Liberal pundits wasted no time in condemning all white gun owners as tools for white supremacy. Joe Cunningham: There is one person, though, that I think could be an instant success in Limbaugh’s spot, and if radio companies have not thought of this already, I want a commission on it: If I were in charge, I would be throwing money at Tucker Carlson right now.

Carlson’s grave offense was pointing out the blinding stupidity of military services becoming obsessed with hairstyling and pregnancy outfits for women in the military… and with general wokeness… while giving short shrift to things like combat readiness. The dishonest military hierarchy took a noncontroversial critique of a command structure that is perfectly willing to kill as many young Americans as it has to in order to get the pronouns right on the death certificates, and spun it as an attack on all women in the military.

Watching Biden lie to us and hearing him insult us is annoying and, frankly, boring at this point – because we expect it. But in this speech Biden went far beyond annoying and straight onto a terrifying new path, the path of complete government control. He led into his plans with a bit of communistic propaganda by speaking to a “common purpose” our hands…
