Time to Give Thanks for Our Fundamental Principles

Newsmax

It’s time, though, to move on from this ill-conceived attempt to overturn the 2016 election, and to decide whether the continued operation of that bureaucracy and that political establishment is in the best interest of Americans. We can give thanks that this is still the choice that can be made by the American people themselves.

Don’t Believe the Hype About an Impending Recession

Newsmax

The media would rather cover fears (or hopes, on the part of their Democrat allies) that our economy will plummet into recession — just in time for the 2020 presidential election. In the past few months, the fraidycat chat has been growing on the business cable networks and in other media outlets.

Dems Impeachment Bid Is Hyper-Partisan Hackery

Newsmax

Democrats must present real proof if they expect Republicans to join their relentless anti-Trump wild-goose chase. Conversely, if Democrats want to accomplish nothing with their hard-fought majority, but to tear America in two, without GOP support, then they should keep up the bad work.

Trump May Be Impeached for Being Successful

Newsmax

Chris Ruddy: Donald Trump may make history once again. He is on track to become the first U.S. President to be impeached for being too successful…Unable to deal with the President’s A-plus performance managing the country, the Democrats have launched yet another “allegation in search of a crime” probe.

Dems Hate Trump More Than They Welcome His Help for Blacks

Newsmax

President Trump wants to put all Americans back to work, especially those whose criminal backgrounds have locked them out of opportunity. Those on the left like Sen. Harris who boycott everything Trump does based on phony racial outrage are effectively boycotting the help he’s brought to millions of blacks and Americans of all colors.

CNN Obsesses Over Facts and Lies in Pursuit of a Get-Trump Slant

Newsmax

Dennis Kneale: A lot of President Trump’s supposed “false claims” may be something else: bombast, self-affirmation, overdone optimism, a sloppy approach to facts and stats, and boasting (being justifiably proud of your real achievements) and bragging (being overly proud of things that fail to impress). Let other statesman go for the stentorian.

Pelosi-Schiff Impeachment Express Steamrolls American Norms

Newsmax

Pelosi and her far-Left colleagues have little interest in due process or first-grade-level fairness. These Democrats — the sorest losers in the history of human competition — lust to oust a president whose guts they hate, just for the warm rush of doing so. Unlike the widely watched Nixon and Clinton impeachment hearings, Pelosi’s persecution happens behind closed doors, with all the transparency of a casket.

Trump Is Right to Pull Out of Syria

Newsmax

America is not the policeman of the world. As ugly and painful as American’s pull out from Syria may be, at some point our endless adventures have to stop. Trump is one of the few presidents gutsy enough to keep a campaign promise and he is our best hope to close out these endless wars.

Let Pence Be to Trump as Ford Was to Nixon

Newsmax

Donald Trump would resign, and Mike Pence would become president, after Pence publicly promised to pardon Trump for crimes he might have committed. We could once again get back to dealing with problems and opportunities without distraction by the spectacle of Mr. Trump in court.

Biden Defines Mediocrity

Newsmax

Conrad Black: In this campaign, he attempted to defang the evident Ukrainian ethical questions, amplified by his own televised boast of having got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired, with a disdainful dismissal in The New Yorker, the highbrow softball park of the Democratic party.

When Will Warren’s Opponents Call Out Her Native American Claims?

Newsmax

The real disgrace of the debates was the failure to challenge Senator Warren on her American Indian heritage “hoax” for which she offered a public apology to Native Americans — but not to other Americans, especially racial minorities. Not one question to Warren by any moderator on allowing her employers at Harvard Law School to list her as one of “several minority hires in 1996.”

We Knew Mike Pence Was Irrelevant, and Now He’s Corrupt Too

Newsmax

Margaret Carlson: When I invite someone to stay at my place…I don’t bill them. But what “staying at my place” means when it’s Trump doing the inviting is that the taxpayer will pay dearly — likely six figures for the whole entourage (a suite with ocean view, high-count thread sheets, in-floor heat, and bespoke decor goes for $1,000 per night), and that’s without the cost of the commute by helicopter, or the bar tab.

How America Can Win Hong Kong’s Freedom

Newsmax

There has never been a better opportunity for Mr. Trump to showcase his “Art of the Deal” credentials. If he plays his cards right, he can achieve the rarified status of embodying that famous Chinese proverb: “the greatest conqueror is he who overcomes the enemy without a blow.”

The Polls Lie About Trump

Newsmax

Clearly, the president is close to having a “lock” on his re-election. One clue this is true is the relatively weak field of Democratic candidates seeking to challenge him for the presidency. Obviously, potential Democratic challengers have read the polls and grasp the fact the president’s numbers are much stronger than the pollsters would have you believe.

Classless Liberals Wishing Doom on Trump as Hurricane Dorian Approaches

Newsmax

While Floridians are busy collecting supplies or making plans to escape Dorian’s path, and others are sending thoughts and prayers, some are using the impending storm to wish doom on President Donald Trump. Former Canadian prime minister Kim Campbell noticed that Dorian’s projected track appeared to be close to Palm Beach and wrote, “I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!”

At G7, Trump Showed the World That America Is Back

Newsmax

Bernard Kerik: Trump’s assertive approach has been a welcome change after eight years of Barack Obama’s fatigued and resigned approach to geopolitics. Throughout his presidency, Obama made the United States look like a hostage to world events, not a catalyst of them.
