NewsBuster Staffer Locked from Twitter for Mocking Drunk Don Lemon

NewsBusters

NewsBusters Analyst Nicholas Fondacaro was briefly suspended from Twitter on January 2 after posting a tweet with a story criticizing CNN anchor Don Lemon. The story in question described Lemon as “salivating” over Nancy Pelosi becoming speaker of the House. For hinting that Don Lemon was drunk on New Year’s Eve, Fondacaro was considered to be violating one of the 10 categories that he clearly didn’t violate. The account was restored late yesterday.

CNN Plays Shutdown Sob Stories

NewsBusters

It’s not hard to imagine federal workers are concerned about the length of the current shutdown. But CNN’s New Day Saturday really larded up the airwaves with Twitter sob stories, and then let a federal employee union leader claim one worker can’t afford a tombstone for his wife now.

Media in Hysterics Over World’s Most “Racist” Haircut

NewsBusters

For the sixth straight day, liberal news outlets blew their racism whistles on Thursday at a referee who ordered black high school wrestler to cut his dreadlocks. NewsBusters

During Tuesday’s edition of The View, co-host Joy Behar described President Trump as “the only President who has his own TV channel in history…” Not surprisingly, two of the other co-hosts on The View, who once worked at Fox News, strongly objected to Behar’s characterization of the network as a pro-Trump echo chamber.

Cable News Erects Wall of Falsehoods Around Caravan

NewsBusters

For the past month, talking heads on CNN and MSNBC have repeated numerous outright falsehoods about the Central American caravan: namely, that it is comprised of “mostly women and children”; that there is “no evidence” of criminals participating; and that none of those marching north are “economic migrants.”

A TV Show We’re Thankful for

NewsBusters

This Fall’s Country Music Awards was such a breath of fresh air. Not only did it refrain from trying to trigger half the country with its politics, it also took time to show gratitude to veterans and active-duty troops and at one point paused for a respectful moment of silence for victims of the recent Thousand Oaks, California shooting.
