The police officer was our modern-day cowboy, an all-American icon—the good guy fighting a corrupt system and his own demons to get the bad guy. We all used to root for the selfless hero holding the thin blue line between citizens and violent chaos.

Variety gave the film a hearty recommendation, but not before attacking both Christians and conservatives in its review. The movie stars Jim Caviezel in a fact-based tale of child trafficking, already locked in $10 million in pre-sales before today’s official release. The far-Left Deadline predicts “Sound of Freedom” will earn $20 million in its first six days of release on 2,600+ screens.
