Trinity College professor Johnny Eric Williams doubled down on his prior statement that “whiteness is terrorism” in a recent opinion editorial…Williams, a sociology professor, tweeted in April 2019, “whiteness is terrorism,” adding, “all self-identified white people (no exceptions) are invested in and collude with systematic white racism/white supremacy.”

New video from outside a Bernie Sanders rally at Virginia Wesleyan University paints a clearer picture of what happened before and after a security officer tackled a Donald Trump supporter to the ground.  Markus Gohring, the man carrying a Trump flag in the now-viral video, was wrestled to the ground after being confronted by security officers threatening to call the police if he did not leave.

Students from the University of Idaho staged a sit-in at a local Starbucks Wednesday, protesting the coffee chain for “penalizing” people who want non-dairy milk options.  The sponsoring organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), cheered the students as they filled the coffee house.

The Trinity University Student Government Association has again denied funding for a Young Conservatives of Texas speaker event.  The Trinity YCT requested $1,500 to bring conservative commentator Elisha Krauss to campus.

Environmentalist group “Fossil Free Stanford” hosted a faculty-led teach-in Monday to educate activists in their fight to convince Stanford University to divest from fossil fuels. The teach-in was facilitated by a group of faculty and so-called experts who aimed to equip students with the information they need to become better climate activists.
