Trump Has Kept Us Out of a Depression

American Spectator

Trump has taken the economy to top speed until a plague of unknown origin rocked the planet. To fight Covid, much of the economy was shut down. But Trump handled the crisis perfectly. No bank failures. Plenty of liquidity. Throwing money at the problem. Trump learned every single lesson from the Great Depression and the Great Recession and put them all to work.

Goya Triumphs as Leftist Attack Backfires

American Spectator

For all of these people who apparently object to a Hispanic businessman making his own decisions and walking away from the Leftist Racial Plantation to do as he damn well pleases for his company — all of this has backfired. On the spot, a “Buycott” campaign to support Goya sprang up. And Goya sales, per CEO Unanue, “quadrupled.”

Don’t You Dare Call that Team the Red Tails

American Spectator

The Tuskegee airmen dealt with more discrimination than any of the snowflakes spending time whining about names of sports teams could even dream of. They’d be insulted, one might imagine, at the NFL’s sudden deficit of patriotism in the face of the Marxist Black Lives Matter craze. Perhaps as a result they’d less than enthusiastic about having their experience memorialized by a team in that league.

Trump’s Impending Tulsa Triumph

American Spectator

Trump, can, should, and probably will point out that to the extent there is “systemic racism” afoot in American cities that leads to incidents like the one which befell the unfortunate Mr. Floyd, those cities are run almost exclusively by Democrat political machines like the one pushing Biden’s incompetent presidential campaign.

Dems Ignore Lockdown Protests at Their Peril

American Spectator

In addition to killing thousands of Americans and robbing millions more of their livelihoods, the COVID-19 outbreak has evidently deprived the Democrats of their political judgment. At the national and state levels they have disregarded voter lockdown protests with the same disdain with which they ignored the Tea Party movement ten years ago.

Media on Coronavirus: Stenographers for the Elite

American Spectator

Reflexive opposition to President Trump means that the press has placed itself in a curious echo chamber with him. When he says something, almost literally anything, they feel that they need to correct it. If Trump is preaching hope, they need to correct it with despair. If Trump says this virus came from China, they have to say that it came from Europe.

Florida has Beaten the Surge

American Spectator

About two weeks ago, the number of new coronavirus cases reported in Florida hit a one-day peak, a key metric that has since declined by about 20 percent. Florida has reported a cumulative total of about 21,000 cases of COVID-19, which means the Sunshine State’s per-capita infection rate is about 90 percent lower than New York’s. However, the good news hasn’t been reported in the national media.

The Worst Governor in America

American Spectator

If Democrats would consider naming such a lightning rod as Democratic governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer to their ticket, it just shows how badly Trump Derangement Syndrome has warped their judgment. Insanity is everywhere nowadays, and Michigan residents are cursed to be ruled by the Mad Woman of Lansing.

The Washington Post Turns Totalitarian

American Spectator

The reason Post media writer Margaret Sullivan suddenly wants to shut down the presidential briefings is that, for an hour or so every day, the American people have gotten to see the president in action, up close and personal. For themselves. And what they see is not the hateful, ignorant bigot of the liberal media narrative. What they see is a very determined, very smart guy.
